'Go-Local'
In the face of multiple converging challenges, the notion of continuing with 'business as usual' is increasingly an illusion. Instead, we find ourselves at the dawn of a new era, one that demands collaboration on an unprecedented scale to confront escalating breakdowns and pave the way for a prosperous transition.

Cooperative enterprises emerge as a beacon of hope in this landscape, offering a tangible path towards sustainability and fair development. It's no longer viable to cling to the unsustainable norms of the past; we must pivot towards a future where cooperative principles serve as our guiding light, steering us towards collective prosperity and optimism for generations to come.

Our journey begins with small gatherings, where seeds of change are planted. These gatherings lay the foundation for grassroots initiatives such as household food gardens and local craftsmanship, igniting the spark of cooperative spirit within communities. Here, democratic principles reign supreme as individuals come together to form cooperatives tailored to their specific needs.

At the heart of each local endeavor stands a dedicated facilitator, charged with orchestrating collaboration and fostering unity. Through their guidance, these initiatives leap from ideas into action, moving us towards a future built on shared goals and collective resilience. We go local and re-connect.

'Share The Future'
It will take the power of communities coming together to create a sustainable future, where everyone can embrace their potential, define their own path, and collectively change the world for the better.
Prepare For Tomorrow
Prepare For Tomorrow
In this transitional phase, it's crucial to anticipate and prepare for increasing disruptions and breakdowns, necessitating a proactive, community-driven approach. The initiative, 'Form Co-ops,' seeks to cultivate resilience and adaptability within individuals and communities alike. Through online forums and physical gatherings, we engage in conversations centered around fostering cooperative ventures. Unlike survivalist movements, Form Co-ops places emphasis on remaining rooted within existing communities, rather than a select few retreating to isolated enclaves.
Cooperatives often begin humbly, sprouting from home-to-home food gardens, grassroots food cooperatives, and other small-scale exchanges. Over time, these initiatives evolve into larger producer, consumer, and industrial entities, yielding substantial benefits for communities. Beyond merely redistributing wealth, they stimulate local economies, ensuring that financial resources circulate within regional boundaries, thereby enhancing overall prosperity. Rooted in democratic principles, cooperatives prioritize wealth-sharing and empower their members by granting them control over operations, effectively functioning as fully-fledged businesses owned and operated by the community.
Within the framework of Form Co-ops, participants collaborate with permaculture groups and larger organizations like ClimateSafeVillages.org. Additionally, Form Co-ops promotes innovative exchange mechanisms like time-trading hybrids, aiming to lessen dependence on conventional currencies. These value-added components contribute to the creation of a purpose-driven network designed to address pressing issues across various domains, while also laying the groundwork for a more promising future within a market economy. Through our endeavours, we strive to prepare and adapt for a sustainable world and foster holistic prosperity, beginning at the grassroots level."
